SPIRITUAL HORIZON gets its name from the vision and mission of connecting the known and unknown through in-depth study and practice of God's Holy Word (The Bible). This site is one of the tools to promote that idea of the ministry's founder, James S. Hodges. As of this time, we have two parts that make up SPIRITUAL HORIZON. One, a counseling ministry (Bible Counseling Outreach) using relevant and intuitive applications of Scripture to today's non-organic issues in the realm of the ever diverse labels involving emotional/mental disorders. This also focuses on Biblical dream interpretation as well. You can get online assistance by subscribing to our monthly or yearly membership. With this, you get access via your own personal password which you get responses to your Bible questions, dreams, or various emotional issues within a 48 hr period from Hodges himself. Hodges also wants to promote his personal counseling outreach where you can meet him in person, but is limited (depending on God's leading) to serving his local surrounding area of northern/central North Carolina. We are also willing to reach out to women who have had abortions or contemplating having one. Many go through various cycles of depression and are in need of compassion.

Two, a very unique outreach like no other known as S.P.I.R.I.T.S. (Society of Paranormal Investigative Research Involving The Scriptures). This is taken from 1 John 4:1 which teaches us that everything that is supernatural (or paranormal) is not always from God, but we must 'try the SPIRITS' whether they be of God. James Hodges used to be involved with the occult before coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. He has a lot to offer in the investigation of the paranormal with not only a Scriptural approach, but a REMEDY for those who are tormented by the supernatural.
